Plastics and Rubber Machinery R&D Innovation Competition

The results from the 2016 plastic and rubber machinery innovation competition has been revealed, and the chairman of the Taiwan Machinery association, Ba-xi Ke (second from left) personally presented the excellence prize to the R&D manager of CLF machinery works Co. Ltd., Zhi-zhe Wu (second from right), the aesthetics prize to Can-ren Wei, manager of Fong Kee International machinery Co. Ltd. and smart machinery prize to Zheng-wei Wu, manager of Multiplas (first from right).
The results from 2016 plastic and rubber machinery innovation product competition jointly held by the Taiwan Machinery Association and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council was revealed after receiving 27 entries from 22 competitors. CLF machinery works Co. Ltd. received the excellence prize, the highest honor with their multi-purpose smart circulating lubrication plastic injection molding machine. The aesthetic prize was awarded to Fong Kee machinery Co. Ltd.’s smart cloud-monitoring full-electric blow-molding machines. This year’s smart machinery prize was given to Multiplas’ IMES IM4.0 injection molding smart production system. All these prizes were given out personally by the chairman of the Taiwan Machinery Association, Ba-xi Ke.
Chairman Ke and secretary of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council at the prize ceremony said with 27 entries this year, there was a 17% growth compared to last year, each with their own uniqueness, making it hard for the judges to choose the winners. It can be seen that despite the economic downturn, the passion and amount of investment in innovative R&D made by Taiwan’s plastic and rubber machinery industry has only increased in efforts to prepare to raise their competitive edge in the future.
